A log house is a safe construction, which in the case of fire burns slowly due to it’s size. The log frame may even stand though forceful fire, which would make a concrete house collapse. The corner structure of log homes make them popular in areas where earthquakes are common. The collapse risk is nonexistent when compared to many other frames. In these areas a log home may be the only structure left standing.
