Ashdown School – Project Archive
In July 2006 we were approached by Ashdown House School in Sussex. The School were looking for additional classroom space and did not want to go down the porta-cabin route. Ashdown felt a porta-cabin would not fit in with the historical and beautiful landscape the School is set in.
We designed a cabin with 3 independent classrooms and a kitchenette. Click on link below for a layout plan.
The cabin was fully insulated and also had sound proofing installed on the walls to save any distractions during class time. We worked in close conjunction with the electricians and other trades people and in October 2007 we handed over the completed structure ready for use.

The building supplied had to pass UK building regulations and Luoman UK were able to assist and supply everything needed to ensure compliance.
